  • Proparacaine ophthalmic is a topical anesthetic (numbing agent) used in the eyes before diagnostic procedures and as an adjunctive anesthetic for eye surgeries in cats, dogs, and other animals. This medication is used off label in veterinary medicine and comes in a liquid drop form.

  • Ophthalmic autologous serum is a blood-derived product used to treat corneal ulcers in animals. Ophthalmic autologous serum is part of the blood and is collected directly from the patient. It is in liquid form.

  • Silver sulfadiazine topical is an antimicrobial used to treat skin infections and burns in cats, dogs, and exotic pets. It is used off label in veterinary medicine. Silver sulfadiazine topical comes in a topical cream.

  • Simethicone is an anti-gas agent used to help treat pain, bloating, and flatulence caused by excessive gas in the gastrointestinal tract of cats, dogs, and other animals. It works as an anti-foaming agent by reducing surface tension on gas bubbles.

  • Smectite (Bio-Sponge®) is an intestinal support supplement used in various animal species, including dogs, cats, horses, cattle, and small ruminants. It has adsorbent properties may help bind toxins, bacteria, viruses, and free-radicals in the intestinal tract.

  • Tamsulosin is a medication used as a lower urinary tract relaxant to treat functional urinary obstructions in cats and dogs. It has also been used to treat small obstructive urinary stones in cats. Tamsulosin comes in capsule form; capsules should not be crushed or compounded into liquid.

  • Thiamine (Vitamin B1) is used both as an injectable drug and an oral vitamin supplement to prevent or treat thiamine deficiency in various species, including dogs, cats, horses, cattle, small ruminants, and pigs.

  • Topical omega-3 fatty acids are found in various skin support products for pets to promote a healthy skin and coat in dogs, cats, small mammals, and horses. These products, such as Dermoscent® Atop 7®, are often used in combination with omega-6 fatty acids to enhance overall health and reduce inflammation. They can also help decrease itching associated with certain skin diseases.

  • Vitamin B complex injectable is a solution containing multiple forms of Vitamin B, which are used together to prevent or treat Vitamin B deficiencies. These vitamins promote good overall health for your pet and regulate certain processes in the body. Vitamin B complex injectable comes as a solution for injection either under the skin or into the muscle.

  • Vitamin E and selenium are essential nutrients with antioxidant properties that work together to prevent oxidative damage and support the immune system. They are used in animals to treat skin diseases, liver disease, cognitive dysfunction, and dietary deficiencies.
