Dr. Harpal Mann
BVSc. & A.H., MVSc. (Medicine), CCRP – Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (University of Tennessee) – VETERINARIAN
Dr. Mann chose this profession because he has always had a soft spot for animals, and wanted to be able to do as much as possible to help and care for them. In his words, “animals give us so much, we are obliged to return to them, at least a part of it”. His compassion and care for animals have earned him his reputation and trust in the community. He has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since graduating with a BVSc & A.H. degree in 1987 from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India. He began his career as a mixed large & small animal veterinarian before realizing he had a particular interest in small animal internal medicine. He went on to pursue his Master’s degree specializing in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Mann moved to Canada with his family in 2000 and quickly completed the rigorous veterinary examination process to obtain his license to practice veterinary medicine in Canada and the United States. He passed his Clinical Proficiency Examination at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon and was awarded his Certificate of Qualification by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association. Owing to his interest in physiotherapy, Dr. Mann went on to complete his certification “CCRP – Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner” and is now seeing patients for rehabilitation therapy as well.
Dr. Mann established Menzies Pet Hospital in 2004 and has been serving the community of Chilliwack since then. His mission is to prioritize the well-being of his patients and show compassion for his clients. On his own time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He loves to travel whenever he can and enjoys playing volleyball and hiking. He loves spending time with his two dogs, Hazel and Sophie, who are also from India.
